How Referrals Work

Getting Your Referral Code

Every user automatically gets a unique referral code when they sign up. Find yours on your /profile page.

Your code looks like: REF-XXXXXXXXX

Sharing Your Code

Share your referral code with friends. They can:

• Enter it during signup
• Or submit it later from their profile page

Important: Each user can only use one referral code, and it must be used before they make their first vote.

What You Earn

When someone uses your referral code and starts participating:

Referral Activation

A referral becomes "activated" when the referred user participates with USDC (where permitted) and reaches a threshold of $5 or more in USDC participation on mainnet.

Earnings

Once activated, you earn:

• 0.1% of their total USDC participation volume as accrued rewards
• Rewards accumulate automatically as they participate with USDC
• You can redeem accrued rewards as wallet rewards

Example:

• Friend participates with $100 total USDC → You earn $0.10 in accrued rewards
• Friend participates with $1,000 total USDC → You earn $1.00 in accrued rewards

Redeeming Rewards

1. Go to /profile
2. View your referral stats and accrued amount
3. Redeem available rewards to your wallet

Note: Referral rewards are only earned from USDC participation on mainnet. Free voting does not generate referral rewards, but referred users can still participate fully through free voting and compete on leaderboards.

Best Practices

• Share your referral code on social media
• Include it in content about ScorePlay
• Use UTM parameters to track where referrals come from (see Creator Guide)
