What is ScorePlay?

ScorePlay is a football knowledge competition where players vote on match outcomes and earn points based on accuracy and consistency. ScorePlay has two game modes: one available to everyone worldwide (except sanctioned countries), and another that's only available in some countries.

Can I play without money?

Yes. ScorePlay has a Free Mode that's available to everyone worldwide (except sanctioned countries). You can vote on matches, earn ScorePoints, and compete on leaderboards without any money or cryptocurrency required.

Is this gambling?

No, ScorePlay is a skill-based football knowledge competition. Players vote on match outcomes and earn points based on accuracy. The game has two modes: Free Mode (available to everyone) and USDC Mode (available in some countries).

Do I need cryptocurrency to use ScorePlay?

No, cryptocurrency is not required for Free Mode. You can participate fully through Free Mode without any cryptocurrency or wallet connection. USDC Mode (available in some countries) requires cryptocurrency.

Is ScorePlay free to use?

Yes, Free Mode is free to use. Free Mode is available globally (except sanctioned countries) and requires no money or cryptocurrency. USDC Mode is only available in some countries and requires USDC.

Which blockchains does ScorePlay support?

ScorePlay supports multiple blockchain networks including Sophon Mainnet and Avalanche. However, blockchain networks are only required for optional USDC participation. Free voting does not require any blockchain network.

Getting Started

How do I start playing?

1. Log in with Google or connect your wallet
2. Visit /compete to see upcoming matches
3. Browse matches and vote on outcomes
4. Earn ScorePoints from correct votes
5. Compete on leaderboards based on accuracy

How do I connect my wallet?

Wallet connection is only required for optional USDC participation where permitted. Click "LOG IN" in the top right, select your wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.), and approve the connection. You'll need to sign an authentication message.

Can I use multiple wallets?

Currently, one wallet per account. You can disconnect and reconnect a different wallet, but this creates a new account.

What if I lose access to my wallet?

Unfortunately, we cannot recover wallets. Keep your seed phrase safe and secure. We recommend using a hardware wallet for added security. Note: This only applies to USDC participation. Free voting does not require a wallet.

Score Qualification & Score Champions

What are Score Qualification and Score Champions?

Every normal competition week, two leaderboards run at once: Score Qualification ranks everyone by competitive SP for that week; Score Champions ranks only players who qualified that week—the same picks and SP count on both the open ladder and the elite ladder. Qualification comes from last week: top 25 on Score Qualification or top 10 on Score Champions — see Score Champions. Week 0 after a season start is Score Qualification only until the next period; use the week rail in the app for exact dates. The rail shows pill label Week 0; that period is not always the same length as later weeks.

Why don’t my early predictions on far-future matches count this week?

Competitive SP uses the match kickoff in the selected competition week, not when you clicked predict.

Are referrals counted on the competition leaderboard?

No. Referral SP does not count toward Score Qualification or Score Champions; it may still add to All-time or other rewards.

Voting & Predictions

How does voting work?

Voting is free and simple:

1. Browse upcoming matches
2. Select an outcome (Team A, Draw, or Team B)
3. Submit your vote
4. Earn ScorePoints per product rules (typically on entry and when your pick settles correct)

No money or cryptocurrency required for Free Mode.

What's the difference between Free Mode and USDC Mode?

• Free Mode: Available to everyone worldwide (except sanctioned countries), no money required, earns ScorePoints from accuracy
• USDC Mode: Only available in some countries; requires wallet and USDC; earns SP from the same pick rules plus position SP where implemented (Points and leaderboard)

Can I make multiple votes on the same match?

For most markets, you can only make one vote per match. Check the specific match details for voting rules.

When are vote results determined?

Results are calculated after the match officially ends. This may take a few minutes to hours depending on data availability.

What happens if a match is cancelled?

Cancelled matches typically result in votes being voided. If you participated with USDC where permitted, you may receive a refund.

ScorePoints & Leaderboard

How do I earn ScorePoints?

You earn SP from predictions (and optional USDC flows where you use them). For free picks you typically get SP when you enter a pick and more SP when it settles correct. The more accurate and consistent you are, the more SP you build over time. Full table: Points and leaderboard.

Does USDC affect my ScorePoints?

It can add SP, but there is no separate “stake ranking.” Where USDC Mode is available, open and realized USDC positions follow the same SP rules as everyone else (Points and leaderboard). Leaderboard order is by total SP, not by wallet size. Strong free picks can still outrank someone who stakes more but gets results wrong.

Can I rank highly without USDC?

Yes, absolutely. Accuracy on free picks drives most competitive SP; a player with high accuracy and no USDC can rank higher than a player with low accuracy and large USDC.

How are leaderboard rankings determined?

Rankings are by total ScorePoints (SP) for that view: All-time, weekly Score Qualification, weekly Score Champions, or time ranges such as 30d, as labeled in the app. SP rewards getting predictions right; optional USDC can add SP per product rules but does not create a second, wealth-based ladder.

USDC Participation

Why is USDC Mode not available in my country?

USDC Mode is only available in some countries due to legal restrictions. You can still participate fully through Free Mode and compete on leaderboards.

Is USDC Mode required?

No, USDC Mode is not required. You can participate fully through Free Mode, which is available to everyone worldwide (except sanctioned countries).

What's the difference between Free Mode and USDC Mode?

Both modes use the same game mechanics and ScorePoints system. The main difference is whether you participate with USDC or not, depending on what's available in your region.

How do I know if USDC Mode is available in my region?

The platform will indicate if USDC Mode is available in your region. If not available, you can still participate fully through Free Mode.

Availability & Restrictions

Where is ScorePlay available?

Free Mode is available globally except for sanctioned countries. USDC Mode is only available in some countries.

What are sanctioned countries?

Sanctioned countries are fully blocked from all ScorePlay features. This is a legal requirement.

Can I use a VPN to access USDC Mode?

No, using VPNs to circumvent restrictions violates our Terms of Service. USDC Mode is geoblocked for legal compliance. You can still participate fully through Free Mode.

Technical

Why is my transaction pending?

Blockchain transactions require network confirmation. Wait times vary by network congestion. Check your wallet for status. Note: This only applies to USDC participation. Free voting does not require transactions.

What if a transaction fails?

Failed transactions still consume gas fees. Common causes: insufficient funds, network congestion, or contract errors. Try again with higher gas if needed. Note: This only applies to USDC participation.

How do I switch networks?

Use your wallet to switch networks. ScorePlay will detect the change. Make sure you're on a supported network (Sophon Mainnet, Avalanche, etc.). Note: This only applies to USDC participation.

Why can't I see my balance?

Ensure your wallet is connected and on the correct network. Refresh the page or reconnect your wallet if needed. Note: This only applies to USDC participation. Free voting does not require a balance.

Account

Can I change my username?

Yes, if the new username is available. Go to Profile, click Edit next to your username, type the new name, and Save. Full guide: How to edit your profile.

How do I update my profile picture?

On Profile, click the camera/edit icon on your avatar, paste an image URL, and Save. Full guide: How to edit your profile.

How do I set my country/nationality?

On Profile, click Edit (globe) next to your country, search or select your country, then confirm. Full guide: How to edit your profile.

How do I delete my account?

Contact support for account deletion. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Troubleshooting

The page won't load

• Check your internet connection
• Clear browser cache
• Try a different browser
• Disable browser extensions

Wallet won't connect

• Ensure wallet extension is installed and unlocked
• Try refreshing the page
• Check if wallet is on a supported network
• Disconnect and reconnect

Note: Wallet connection is only required for USDC Mode. Free Mode does not require a wallet.

Votes not showing

• Refresh the page
• Check if you're logged in
• Verify your vote was submitted
• Clear cache and try again

Can't claim rewards

• Ensure wallet is connected when you use USDC
• Check if you have sufficient gas when you use USDC
• Verify the reward is claimable
• Try again later if network is congested

Note: Rewards from Free Mode are in ScorePoints, not USDC.
