Supported blockchain networks and contract addresses

Last updated: October 20, 2018

ScorePlay operates on multiple blockchain networks to provide low fees and fast transactions.

Supported Networks

Mainnet Chains (USDC Mode)

These chains support real USDC predictions and earn ScorePoints:

Sophon

Avalanche

Avalanche Fuji (Testnet)

Contract Addresses

Contract addresses vary by chain and market version (V1 vs V2). The app automatically selects the correct contract based on:

  • Selected chain
  • Market version (V1 for simple outcomes, V2 for multi-option markets)
  • Event configuration

Getting Contract Addresses

Contract addresses are available via:

  • Event API responses (contractAddresses field)
  • Market data endpoints
  • On-chain transaction logs

Note: Contract addresses may change. Always fetch them from the API rather than hardcoding.

Best Odds Across Chains

When in USDC mode, the app automatically:

  • Checks odds on all available chains for an event
  • Displays the best (highest) odds available
  • Allows users to switch chains if desired

Odds may vary between chains due to:

  • Different liquidity pools
  • Market version differences (V1 vs V2)
  • Chain-specific market conditions

Network Selection

Users can:

  • Switch chains manually on event pages
  • Let the app auto-select based on best odds
  • View odds comparison across chains

RPC Endpoints

Public RPC endpoints are used, but for production integrations, consider:

  • Using your own RPC provider for reliability
  • Implementing retry logic for failed requests
  • Caching chain data to reduce RPC calls

Security

  • Always verify contract addresses before interactions
  • Check chain ID matches expected network
  • Validate transaction data before signing
  • Use official RPC endpoints or trusted providers
