Leaderboard Strategy Guide — Knowledge Over Capital

How to climb the ScorePlay leaderboard using accuracy and consistency. Knowledge over capital: rankings reflect your football IQ, not your wallet.

On ScorePlay, the leaderboard reflects knowledge and accuracy, not how much you stake. Here’s how the system works and how to improve your rank.

How leaderboard rankings work

Your position is determined by ScorePoints (SP) from predictions (and optional USDC flows where you use them). Rank is by total SP, not by wallet size: strong free picks can still beat someone who stakes more but gets results wrong.

So: knowledge over capital in the sense that prediction outcomes drive SP, not showing a bigger wallet.

Tips to climb the leaderboard

  1. Focus on accuracy — You get SP when you enter picks and much more when they settle correct. A few well-researched votes beat many random ones.
  2. Be consistent — Regular, accurate voting builds SP over time. Don’t chase volume; chase correctness.
  3. Use your football knowledge — Form, injuries, and context matter. Use what you know about teams and leagues.
  4. Track your performance — Use your dashboard and leaderboard to see accuracy and rank. Adjust where you vote if needed. Want to customize how you appear? Edit your profile.
  5. Play in Free Mode — You can rank highly without USDC. Free picks and USDC (where available) follow the same SP rules; optional USDC can add SP from positions, but rank is still by total SP.

All-time, Score Qualification, and Score Champions

All-time is lifetime SP. Each normal competition week, Score Qualification (everyone) and Score Champions (eligible field only) both run—the same weekly competitive SP from the same picks counts on both. Only competitive SP (kickoffs in the week on the rail) counts on those two ladders; the opening week after a season may be Qualification-only—see the app. Full rules: Score Champions and this guide.
